Swords
Swords seem to me to be very much a man thing. As a woman I cannot understand why someone would be this interested in weapons. I guess I prefer something which is pretty. However, I have recently seen some pictures of Katana Swords and now I realise that despite being weapons, swords can be very beautiful. You can really admire the work that has gone into making them, the skilled craftsmanship and the quality materials. I still would not want to display them in my home, but I can start to understand why some might be of interest to others. I guess the history of some of the antique weapons would be interesting to a historian but I would be quite happy with looking at pictures of them in books rather than having them in my home.
